Climb Kilimanjaro the classic way—scenic, historic, and comfortably sheltered.
Experience Kilimanjaro through the famed Marangu Route—affectionately known as the “Coca-Cola Route.” This 8-day tour, including 6 days on the mountain, is perfect for those preferring hut accommodations and a more structured climb. You’ll ascend through rainforest, moorland, and alpine desert zones before summiting Uhuru Peak. With an extra acclimatization day and gentle trail gradient, the Marangu Route offers comfort, challenge, and breathtaking views. It’s ideal for trekkers looking for a supported and historically rich Kilimanjaro experience.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Relax, meet your guide, and attend the trek briefing.
Drive to Marangu Gate and start your trek through thick rainforest. Reach Mandara Hut, where blue monkeys and forest birds thrive.
Climb through heath and moorland zones with views of Mawenzi Peak. Reach Horombo Hut and enjoy panoramic mountain vistas.
Hike toward Kibo Hut and return to Horombo. This rest day aids altitude adjustment and improves your summit success rate.

Start early and ascend to Gilman’s Point, then continue to Uhuru Peak. After summiting, descend via Kibo back to Horombo Hut.
