These Booking Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations made with Arusha Pro Expeditions. By confirming your booking, you agree to adhere to the following terms:

1. Booking and Payment

  • A 30% deposit of the total safari price is required to secure your booking.
  • The remaining balance must be settled at least 30 days prior to the safari start date.
  • For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required immediately.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other accepted payment methods.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
  • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus administrative fees.
  • Between 30 and 59 days before departure: 50% of the total booking cost charged.
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund provided.
  • Refunds are processed within 30 days of cancellation confirmation.
  • We are not liable for cancellations due to force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest).

3. Changes to Bookings

  • Changes to confirmed bookings depend on availability and may involve extra fees.
  • Requests to alter travel dates must be made at least 30 days before departure.
  • If changes increase the cost, the client is responsible for paying the difference.

4. Travel Documents and Insurance

  • Clients must ensure they have valid passports, visas, and travel insurance covering emergencies and cancellations.
  • Arusha Pro Expeditions is not responsible for denied entry caused by invalid or missing documentation.

5. Health and Safety

  • Clients should be in good health and disclose any medical issues affecting safari participation.
  • Certain activities may have age or health restrictions which must be followed.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to any client posing a safety risk.

6. Liability and Responsibility

  • Arusha Pro Expeditions acts as an agent for third-party providers and is not liable for injuries, delays, losses, or damages beyond our control.
  • Participation in activities is at the client’s own risk.
  • We highly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance before departure.

7. Safari Rules and Regulations

  • Clients must follow guides’ instructions and park regulations at all times.
  • Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the environment.
  • Littering, feeding animals, and straying off designated paths are strictly prohibited.

8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

  • Complaints should be reported immediately during the trip for prompt resolution.
  • If unresolved, complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days after trip completion.
  • Disputes will be governed by Tanzanian law.

9. Force Majeure

  • We are not responsible for cancellations or disruptions due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or political instability.
  • Alternative travel dates may be offered subject to availability.
