After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Lake Manyara National Park. The drive takes approximately two hours and offers breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Upon arrival at the park gate, you will complete entry procedures and begin your game drive. The morning game drive takes you through the lush groundwater forest, where you may encounter elephants, baboons, blue monkeys, and various bird species.
Continue your safari toward the open floodplains and lake shore, a prime area for spotting giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and the famous tree-climbing lions resting on acacia branches.
You will stop for a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the park, surrounded by nature. After lunch, the game drive continues along the lake, where flamingos and other water birds are often seen in large numbers.
